The commission shall:
a.Have all the powers and perform all the duties conferred or imposed upon it by this Title;
b.Have
charge and supervision of the administration and enforcement of this
Title and attend to the enforcement thereof, and for the purpose of
enforcement may communicate with the police departments and police
officers in the state;
c.Collect
such data with respect to the proper restrictions to be placed upon
motor vehicles and their use upon the public roads, turnpikes and
thoroughfares as shall seem for the public good;
d.Execute
all contracts entered into by the commission and approve all bills for
disbursement of money under any provision of this chapter and chapter 3
of this title (R.S. 39:3-1 et seq.), which bills shall be paid by the
State Treasurer upon the warrant of the comptroller out of any
appropriation regularly made therefor.
